This production is pure gold. Cowan is one of the top guitar players of his generation. He is now playing a spruce guitar so the colors, dynamics and cleanness of his technique are quite impressive.
This is not Steve’s best quality. The most remarkable one is his sweet musicality. The 24 Ponce integral of the Preludes is a landmark in this recording. His Weiss on guitar will make lute players to be jealous.
